Our agency is the only
training agency that actually works in the crisis field. Certification
is available through our international certification program for
specialists, humanitarian and Nonprofit agencies. CTS designation was
created for Trauma counselors, Crisis center workers, clinicians, and
treatment specialists who provide individual, group, and/or family
counseling or intervention. We are the only specialists that teach the
self defense protocol training for emergency personnel humanitarian relief
workers and crisis centers

How Do you get certified
By either preparing a resume that meets the certification
requirements with supporting documentation or taking suggested
certification courses often 2 day courses to meet the
requirements work experiences may be required. College courses may
satisfy requirements. Then send applications plus membership fees.

Our new traumatic stress training program
is on Cd and in power point this training is better than any on the market
and provides you with to the pint details for the individual traumatic
stress training for critical incidents.
OSHA recommends comprehensive violence
/crisis intervention programs in health care and social service
agencies. Now it is recommended for airline industry coast guard, DOD,
retail stores and U.S. air force bases . Our agency is one of the few
that has experience in this and related fields TTD provides that
training at the National Meditation Center in Tyler Texas
Learn how to help others in a Disaster or
work related accident. Don't spend 300.00 or more on a course and motel to
to take this course. Our course is simple and to the point work at your own
pace in your home at your leisure. This is a non narrated course with slide
by slide training. Its much cheaper and simpler to learn than other
agencies.

vitae, recommendation, completed application, no felonies.
Minimum 100 hours of related training, 16 trauma
training basic preferred. We also like to see interview techniques
Certified Humanitarian relief worker (CHRW )
The minimum requirements are:
• 2,000 hours of experience (Different areas of experience
may apply). • A minimum of 240 clock hours of education and
training in related field. • College transcripts documenting
degrees related to a specialty that can be used in the
field, eg Electrician, engineer, law enforcement or other •
Acknowledgment of 1 year of experience. ( individual with less
than a year may apply while working for own their year.
• Current vitae (resume) with experience documented. •
Notarized letter stating that you have never been convicted or a
felony or crime against children. • Recommendations from
sponsor and three colleagues. • Completed application with
statement certifying that you have no convictions for crimes
against children.
RE-CERTIFICATION REQUIRED EVERY 2 YEARS.
• $75 application fee • 30 hours of Humanitarian
training continuing education (10 hours can be from
training you provided)
Certified Humanitarian Trainer (CHT)
If you have a specialty eg Child protection ,Medical ,Engineer
ect and want to train this certification is for you.
Self defense protocol trainer (SDPT)
certified
This certification is given to individual wishing to
work internationally specializing in security .This is a specialty
certification especially suited for ex police and emergency personnel.
This certification is an advanced certification for individual
teaching self defense arts or acting as personal security
consultant. It requires that the individual have the training
and back ground to prepare training for groups or industry that
relates to the special needs and prepares training techniques as
related to the industry. For example in Texas law enforcement have
guidelines that they must use during physical conflict. State
prisons have guidelines that they must use. The Sdpt trainer must
have the ability to research guidelines and develop a program
for the agency using the guidelines given or if there are no
guidelines they must have the ability to develop such guidelines.
CTS Certified trauma specialist Has the same requirements as the Ctes But also
requires 2000 hours of experiences which must be documented. And preferably
a license. In counseling or the profession of social work or Psychologist.
Certified Traumatic event specialists (CTES)
CTES designation was created for those who provide immediate trauma
intervention through critical incident stress debriefing/management,
peer counseling, and trauma response.
The minimum requirements are:
• 40 hours on a crisis or critical incident response team. •
Associate degree, or HS diploma with successful completion of
disaster, or CISD training, or two years experience in trauma
response. • 32 hours basic specified courses ( Individual
and Group Trauma counseling) • 40 hours advanced disaster or
trauma response training • Sponsor letter. • Letter of
recommendation from supervisor and one colleague. •

Certified cross cultural specialist (CCS)
CCS designation
was created for those who provide immediate trauma intervention,
crisis support, advocacy, or victim assistance.
The minimum requirements are:
• One year experience in cultural related field. •
Associates degree, or HS diploma with successful completion of
public safety, victim services or crisis response training,
or two years in cultural services or crisis response training,
OR two years cultural services or support work. •
32 clock hours as specified by application kit. • 40 hours
of NMC recognized elective course work. • Letter of
recommendation from Sponsor
• Letters of recommendation from one supervisor and one
colleague • Current resume with documented experience in
trauma service field. • Application Fee: ? $100 (NMC
Member Fee) ? $50 (Member-volunteer/retired/student Fee)
? $350 (Non Member Fee) • Completed CCS application with
sponsor's signature.
